Welcome to Episode 03 of "The Chase Merrell Podcast". A brand new podcast all about helping you get FREED UP from what's holding you back so you can BUILD UP who you're made to be! 

In today's episode, I have my friend Josh Jones with me. Josh and I have become close friends over the last year, and I knew I had to have him on the show to talk about how our friendship has grown and how Jesus has been at the core of it all. We also discuss some of the struggles Josh faced when he stepped out of a job and into a season of rest and waiting on God's next steps for him. One of the biggest things that held Josh back was the concern of other's perception and the identity he had in his job and work ethic. But as he let go of that identity, he was able to find true rest and peace in God and who He created him to be. We also touch on the topics like investing, stocks and cryptocurrencies, working out and a recent discovery of the benefits of a hot sauna and cold shower. We have developed a unique bond over this past year really centered on Jesus and our desire to be healthy husbands and fathers first and foremost. Overall, this is a conversation about friendship, faith, and the importance of being true to who God created us to be.
